The Bella Vox Foundation Mission

The Bella Vox Foundation is committed to the transformative ability of the “beautiful voice” to open hearts, change minds and inspire lives. In the communities we serve, we offer low-cost, or no-cost, vocal arts education to students of all ages and musical genres, we produce the highest quality vocal entertainment, with stars from Broadway, Classical, and Contemporary Music, and provide opportunities for children and families to experience these performances for free. And, we support an open-boarders concept of cultural exchange between singers of all languages, providing the opportunity to both study and/or perform throughout North America, and Europe.

Bella Vox Foundation was founded on three core beliefs:

1. The human voice has transformative abilities to open hearts, change minds, and inspire lives.

2. The shared experience of live vocal performance is essential to the development of empathy, and understanding of the human condition. It is therefore “food for the soul,” and should be considered as essential as any other human necessity.

3. A performing arts education is not only a path to the stage, but also vital to human development. It cultivates the confidence, empathy, and cognitive resilience necessary for every individual to thrive, regardless of their age or profession.

Cindy Firing

Performer

Many in the Broadway and Cabaret communities rightfully recognize David Sabella as a consummate performer and masterful vocalist. After having completed a 4-day master class, I also regard him as a teacher in the truest sense of the word. I was not only on the receiving end of his wisdom, which he shared generously, but also the beneficiary of his keen eyes and ears. It is one thing to identify and articulate areas for improvement; it is another to relentlessly delve deep in search of the right exercises and specific words that resonate with each individual to make a difference. His passion to help each person grow into their best self as interpreters of song is palpable, whether tweaking vocals or probing lyrics. I highly recommend taking advantage of any opportunity to work with him. A huge bonus is if Mark Hartman is serving as Music Director. He is a wealth of knowledge and equally committed to helping each person shine. They are a powerful, effective team. I thank myself for taking the leap, and them for not letting me fall.
