At the Bella Vox Foundation, we believe the performing arts are a necessary component of early education. That is why we offer free admission for school-age children to all of our performances.
However, in Puerto Vallarta, this often poses logistical challenges. In 2025, we learned that the simple task of gathering permission slips and chaperones was prohibitively challenging. Our initial response was to allow children to attend with their parents or caregivers. Still, difficulties remained. Parents often work late into the evening, and many children work after school to help support their families.
So, when the children can’t come to us, we go to the children.
Recently, American Idol alum Ava Nicole Frances brought a private concert to the Vallarta School for Girls. More than just a performance, it was a revelation. Young girls saw a peer—someone just like them—chasing a dream, and realized they could do the same.
We are now expanding this vital outreach to public schools across the city, but we can’t do it alone.
